Sedona, Arizona:  CITY COUNCIL UNANIMOUSLY SUPPORTS DUAL WEED BARRIER PROJECT

May 29, 2015: Three years in the making…but we did it!
The front page of Sedona Red Rock News heralds the victory of the people of Sedona
who communicated their support in favor of the dual weed barrier system as a way to reduce
herbicide/pesticide use along SR89A! Thank you, Sedona City Council-members for your willingness
to listen and for making this a priority. The SR89A Sedona Dual Weed Barrier Project is the result of a
dialog between Healthy Outdoor Public Environments (H.O.P.E.) and Sedona City Staff that began in 2012.

Sedona City Council unanimously approves Dual Weed Barrier Project and makes it a priority
